Art Dedoff is a young artist (but not the young man) from Moscow, Russia. He participated in lots of contemporary art Exhibitions in Moscow and in a huge number of Nonexibitions all around the world, including London, Paris, New York, and LA. He is actively working in various genres of contemporary art and studying at the Radical Art Academy.
Curriculum vitae. In his childhood, he often raced and drifted on tanks and fired at Kalashnikov, as a student at the military school for boys in the Russian city Yekaterinburg. In his youth, he studied at the Aviation Military School, and after graduation, he served as a military pilot in Siberia for 5 years (on a Sukhoi Su-24 ‘Fencer’ — Russian Strike Fighter Bomber). Then, he flew a lot, bombed a lot, and, of course, successfully destroyed a huge amount of (training) targets with air-to-surface missiles. He retired from military service at the age of 26 at the rank of Captain.
In his previous life (or, better say, life’s) he also worked in Moscow and St. Petersburg as a janitor, salesman, entrepreneur, engineer, journalist, school teacher, actor, screenwriter, translator, and of course, as an executive manager for a large companies.
He has read and published many books on philosophy. From time to time he has managed to create successful businesses but most of them were all of a sudden derailed or mysteriously and fabulously crashed by spectacular bankruptcy!
He is single. He has three grown sons and a ten-year-old daughter. He makes a living through architecture and this supports both his lifestyle and his art. For the last 15 years, he has been the owner of architectural bureau APBP in
Moscow.
He speaks good Russian and not bad English. His French is not as good as his English.
In contemporary art, he explores the strangeness and absurdity of human life and (even weirder) human death.
Art Dedoff – молодой, но не юный, художник из Москвы. Был участником множества Выставок современного искусства в Москве, а также участником огромного количества Невыставок по всему миру, включая Лондон, Париж, Нью-Йорк и Лос-Анджелес. Активно работает в различных жанрах современного искусства и учится в Академии Радикального Искусства.
Curriculum vitae. В детстве часто гонял на танке и много стрелял из автомата Калашникова,
поскольку учился в военной школе для мальчиков в городе Екатеринбурге. В юности учился в
авиационном военном училище, по окончании которого в течение 5 лет летал на истребителе-бомбардировщике Су-24. Много летал, много бомбил и успешно уничтожил огромное количество (учебных) целей ракетами «воздух-земля». Закончил военную службу в возрасте 26 лет в звании капитана.
В своей предыдущей жизни (или, лучше сказать, жизнях) также работал дворником, продавцом, предпринимателем,
инженером, журналистом, учителем, актером, сценаристом, переводчиком и, разумеется, топ-менеджером в крупных корпорациях в Москве и Санкт-Петербурге. Прочел и издал много книг по философии. Время от времени создавал успешные бизнесы и феерически разорялся.
Холост. Имеет троих взрослых сыновей и десятилетнюю дочь. На жизнь зарабатывает архитектурой. В течение последних 15 лет
является владельцем архитектурного бюро АПБП в Москве.
Хорошо говорит по-русски и по-английски. По-французски говорит плохо.
В современном искусстве исследует вопрос о странной и абсурдной человеческой жизни и еще более странной человеческой смерти.
